We are writing this post with a very heavy heart to let all our friends & followers know that Hurworth Monarch has sadly passed away in his sleep at the grand old age of 13.
Monarch was a champion in the show ring (Old English Champion Dog Hound at Peterborough, The Scottish Hound Show, and Blaston 2012) and a key member of the pack on trail hunting days. He’s enjoyed his last 2 years in retirement at the kennels and was quite the personality.
Monarch will be be greatly missed by all of us.
